Our client, a leading provider of cutting-edge automation and technology solutions, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Vice President of Automation Sales, this role will play a crucial part in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to sell our client’s automation/technology products and consultative engineering services to both new and existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to follow a defined sales process and promote automation opportunities.
  • Develop prospecting plans to secure new business and engage with Sales Team members on joint e-mails/calls to customer prospects.
  • Evaluate customer needs in collaboration with Solutions Engineering, Salespeople and Project Managers.
  • Lead qualifying calls with customers on specific opportunities and drive the follow-up process to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with all levels of Accounts and Prospects.
  • Attend Industry Trade Shows and participate in storage-related calls/meetings to uncover automation/technology opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying and developing relationships with Strategic Partners to enhance our client’s ability to provide consultative, automation solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels of an organization.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse automation
  • Strong listening, negotiation, presentation, closing, and communication skills.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent.
