We have partnered with an exciting and growing team of experts, looking to hire a Sales Development Representative for its team. The primary purpose of the Account Manager role is to be a proactive and dynamic contributor to the growth of the business. As a dedicated “hunter,” the Account Manager will be responsible for generating new business, fostering client relationships, and showcasing technical solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of HVAC equipment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead point of contact for new and smaller customer accounts.
  • Establish and nurture strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
  • Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal stakeholders.
  • Develop new business opportunities within existing client accounts to meet sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track account metrics, including quarterly sales results and annual forecasts.
  • Prepare and present reports on account status.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the territory.
  • Assist in addressing challenging client requests or issue escalations.
  • Proactively seek promotional opportunities (e.g., events) to enhance visibility and generate leads.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Achieve assigned sales quota in designated accounts.
  • Meet profitability expectations.
  • Attain sales targets for new business in specified accounts.
  • Achieve retention targets.
  • KPIs are to be specified based on region, account, and expertise (e.g., product, projects).
