The Role: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is a strategic and pivotal role designed to identify, create, and capture new business opportunities that drive sustainable growth and add value to the Business Unit. As a BDM, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, partners, and other stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Set long-term goals and objectives for the Business Unit, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve revenue and profitability targets on a global scale.
  • Identifying Opportunities: Research and identify potential business opportunities, markets, and clients while staying informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Building Partnerships and Alliances: Develop and negotiate strategic partnerships and alliances with other companies, vendors, or organizations to create mutually beneficial collaborations.
  • Market Expansion: Expand reach into new markets by entering new geographic regions, targeting different customer segments, or introducing products/services to untapped markets.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • +3 years experience in Warehouse Automation space
  • Proven experience in business development or a related field, with a track record of meeting revenue targets.
  • Strong understanding of global market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to set long-term goals and objectives.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating business risks.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a global team.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed for client meetings, conferences, and other business engagements.
