CrimsonXT has partnered with a leading innovator in advanced filtration technologies. This team are looking to hire a Technical Sales Manager based in the US.

Role responsibilities: 

The company is introducing five new product lines, and this role is responsible for owning and scaling the direct-to-data centre sales channel, transitioning from reliance on third-party integrators to direct client engagement. Ultimately, your goal will be to drive the commercial launch and sustained growth of the company’s data centre filtration portfolio.

You will leverage deep sector knowledge and relationships to deliver rapid penetration into the market, as well as:

  • Develop and execute a targeted sales strategy to grow the company’s presence in the North American market
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key hyperscalers, colocation operators, and data centre engineering firms
  • Translate client pain points into tailored filtration solutions
  • Build and manage a qualified sales pipeline of 3× annual target value
  • Leverage and expand existing networks
  • Relay market intelligence to engineering
  • Deliver monthly progress reports and forecasts to the VP of Sales and executive leadership

What we are looking for: 

We are looking for someone with 5-7 years of experience within a sales role within the data centre or IT infrastructure industry, ideally as a Senior Sales Specialist, with a focus on inbound/outbound prospecting and consistent quota attainment. You should have:

  • A solid understanding of data centre fundamentals
  • Demonstrated success in meeting/exceeding sales targets, building relationships, negotiating, and closing deals while fostering long-term client partnerships
  • Proven ability to leverage industry connections for lead generation and partnerships
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, IT, engineering, or a related field is preferred
  • Be highly motivated, passionate about the industry, and thrive in a fast-paced, competitive environment
  • Prior experience in air filtration, HVAC, cleanroom systems, or industrial filtration is highly advantageous
  • Existing relationships within the data centre ecosystem (e.g., AWS, Meta, Google, Equinix, Digital Realty, etc.) are strongly preferred
  • Experience in structuring multi-site or enterprise agreements
  • Be familiar with long-cycle technical sales (6–18 months)
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a start-up growth environment
