Role responsibilities:

We are seeking a qualified Service Engineer to join the team in Europe, working within the CO2 business unit. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of projects through site visits, compliance checks, and strategic guidance. The position requires frequent travel and close collaboration with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.

  • Oversee installation of projects and conduct site assessments.
  • Participate in project kickoff meetings and provide status updates.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and project requirements.
  • Offer remote or on-site technical support during project phases.
  • Direct contractors and ensure high standards of execution.
  • Train and mentor contractors to align with company standards.
  • Manage travel and expenses per schedules.
  • Lead or participate in special assignments or projects as needed.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in commercial refrigeration (supermarket/industrial settings).
  • Strong technical acumen and ability to present complex information effectively.
  • Preferred: expertise in commercial refrigeration systems and CO2 systems.
  • Proficiency in tools like Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and AutoCAD.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in English (C1 level or equivalent); additional European languages are a plus.
