CrimsonXT is partnered with a leading consulting, planning, project and construction management company. We are looking for a Senior/Lead Planner to join the team on a large high-tech project, please note that initially, this is not a management position however can grow into one.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to be at the project for 40-50% of the time and then work from a local/home office for the remainder. *German language is NOT essential but desirable however in that case, your English must be fluent.*

Responsibilities:

  • Application and active further development of the lean strategy as part of holistic scheduling management in our projects
  • Managing deadline reporting with the presentation of cause analyses and stability deviations
  • Recording of actual data through collaborative workshops to derive target-actual comparisons and to forecast processing scenarios
  • Supporting projects in the application of Lean and active continuous improvement of the Lean methodology across projects
  • Creation and maintenance of appointment schedules with common appointment planning software solutions and our collaboration platforms (LCM-Digital, BIM, Power BI)
  • Planning and organizing Lean & Appointments workshops and training for all project participants (external and internal), builders and their representatives

What we are looking for:

  • Completed studies in civil engineering, industrial engineering, architecture, process engineering or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in project management of construction projects, new construction and renovation projects, especially in deadline management according to Lean is desirable
  • Knowledge of common scheduling software solutions (MS Project, Primavera, Asta-Project)
  • Initial experience with collaboration software solutions (e.g. LCM-Digital or comparable) is desirable
  • Understanding of processes and dependencies in the planning, tender/award and execution phases
  • Ability to think analytically, networked and across disciplines with an affinity for databases and process modelling
