Are you looking to lead the delivery of next-generation AI data centers?

CrimsonXT has partnered with a rapidly growing AI infrastructure company that designs and delivers large-scale, GPU-dense data centers for leading AI labs, governments, and enterprises. Their customers include Mistral, Poolside, Black Forest Labs, Meta, and more.

Due to continued global expansion, they are hiring a Data Center Project Manager – Construction to take ownership of planning, budgeting, and delivery across complex, fast-track data center projects worldwide.

Role Overview

Reporting to the Data Center Construction Director, the Data Center Project Manager – Construction will play a central role in turning ambitious capacity targets into executable, on-time, and on-budget data center builds.

You will own the master construction schedule, project financials, and risk management strategy, while acting as the primary coordination point between design, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams. This role is ideal for a senior project manager with deep data center experience who is comfortable leading multi-disciplinary teams across regions and driving accountability from concept through customer handover.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and owning integrated master schedules (Primavera P6 / MS Project) covering design, procurement, construction, and commissioning
  • Driving execution of the construction schedule from site mobilization through substantial completion and turnover
  • Owning project budgets, cash-flow forecasts, change management, and earned-value reporting
  • Facilitating phase-gate and 30/60/90% design reviews, maintaining RACI matrices and action logs
  • Managing the full contract lifecycle, including RFPs, bid evaluations, awards, change orders, and close-out documentation
  • Identifying critical-path and long-lead risks (e.g. transformers, chillers, switchgear) and leading mitigation strategies
  • Acting as the single source of truth for internal leadership and external partners through clear, concise project reporting
  • Providing leadership and direction to cross-functional delivery teams, including project managers, construction managers, and site superintendents
  • Developing staffing plans, overseeing performance management, and supporting talent development within the project organization
  • Leading project standups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive accountability and continuous improvement

  • Proven track record delivering fast-track projects across multiple geographies
  • Deep understanding of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical scopes, including procurement and cost control workflows
  • Strong expertise with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project), cost controls (Procore, Ares, Excel), and collaboration platforms (Smartsheet, Confluence)
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership, consultants, and on-site trades
  • Experience building, scaling, and leading project teams across regions and time zones
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ to active project sites as required

Nice to Have

  • PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
  • Experience delivering multi-gigawatt or highly standardized data center programs
