Location: Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) Area

Compensation: $35–$55/hour (based on experience)

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Controls Technician to join a dynamic and expanding team. This role involves a mix of service work and larger project-based assignments, working closely with project managers to deliver high-quality automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform service, troubleshooting, and optimization of BMS and HVAC control systems
  • Work with DDC controllers and low-voltage wiring
  • Develop and modify graphical programming across platforms such as ABB/Cylon, Johnson FX, Distech, Tridium, Honeywell, AAON, and others
  • Interpret wiring diagrams, mechanical plans, and system specifications
  • Support project execution and ensure systems meet performance requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Experience with MS Visio
  • Strong background in controls systems
  • Experience with DDC, PLC, or ladder logic programming
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience diagnosing, programming, and repairing building automation systems
  • Experience with platforms such as Cylon (ABB), Distech Controls, Honeywell, or JCI preferred
  • Familiarity with Tridium Niagara; N4 certification is an advantage
