We are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development and revenue growth within the US data center cooling segment for a very reputable manufacturer. This role is responsible for driving strategic sales initiatives, developing key customer relationships, and expanding market share for our clients cooling solutions across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and edge data center markets.

The ideal candidate will combine strong technical understanding of thermal management or HVAC systems with proven success in complex B2B sales cycles, particularly within mission-critical infrastructure environments.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans aligned with company revenue targets and market expansion goals.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with hyperscalers, colocation providers, engineering firms, and channel partners.
  • Drive pipeline development and manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Forecast revenue accurately and maintain visibility into market trends and opportunities.

Customer & Partner Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including data center operators, consulting engineers, contractors, and system integrators.
  • Collaborate with OEM partners and internal technical teams to position customized cooling solutions.
  • Lead high-level commercial discussions and solution presentations with executive decision-makers.

Technical Sales Support

  • Understand data center cooling technologies, including air-based and liquid cooling solutions, thermal management strategies, and energy efficiency standards.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
  • Support technical proposals, RFP responses, and solution architecture discussions.

Market Development

  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies such as liquid cooling and high-density AI infrastructure.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.
  • Provide market feedback to product development teams to support innovation and roadmap planning.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in data center infrastructure, HVAC, thermal management, or critical power/cooling solutions.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in complex technical environments.
  • Experience working within an OEM or manufacturer sales environment strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of data center ecosystems and mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Preferred Experience

  • Knowledge of data center cooling technologies (CRAC/CRAH units, liquid cooling, immersion cooling, rear-door heat exchangers, etc.).
  • Experience selling to hyperscale or colocation data center operators.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE guidelines, sustainability targets, and energy efficiency standards.
  • Existing network within the data center industry.
