global manufacturer of mission-critical cooling and HVAC solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to lead and grow sales across Southeast US. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building strong relationships, supporting channel partners, and driving growth in engineered equipment markets.

About the Role

The Regional Sales Manager will recruit, train, and manage a network of independent manufacturers’ representatives while promoting advanced HVAC and cooling solutions to end users, consulting engineers, contractors, and OEM partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and manage independent manufacturers’ sales representatives within the region

• Drive regional sales growth and ensure representatives achieve territory goals

• Promote engineered HVAC solutions to owners, end users, consulting engineers, contractors, and OEMs

• Provide product and application training, including equipment sizing and selection tools

• Support representatives at trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings

• Coordinate with factory engineering teams on custom projects and technical specifications

• Manage sales pipeline, forecasting, and reporting for the region

• Monitor market trends and competitor activity within the industry

• Act as the primary liaison between factory teams and regional representatives

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical education/industry experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling engineered HVAC equipment or mission-critical cooling solutions

• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment selection preferred

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common sales tools

Work Environment

This role requires approximately 50% travel within the assigned region to support sales representatives, customers, and industry events.
