About the job

Are you an experienced technical project manager with at least 5 years of experience managing engineering projects, ideally with special-purpose machines for the life science industry? Are you keen to work for an industry leader, with niche and exciting projects for reputable medical and pharma customers?

CrimsonXT has partnered with a world-leading manufacturer of fully automated special-purpose machines for the life science industry. The company is renowned for its excellent high-tech products and expertise in the automation field, accompanied by its great reputation in the industry. We seek a ‘Project Manager’ to join the successful organisation.

Role responsibilities:

  • Management of technical projects, including technical leadership of the project team and close cooperation with the departments
  • Checking the specification of orders (offer, specifications)
  • Creation of the project schedule, definition of milestones and monitoring of project progress
  • Clarifying technical questions with customers and suppliers
  • Ensuring goal achievement with optimal use of project resources
  • Management of potential risks during the project
  • Identify, implement and monitor quality improvement measures
  • Monitoring of deadlines and costs
  • Support of internal optimisation projects

What we are looking for:

  • Technical degree in fields such as mechanical-, industrial-, automation-, chemical engineering, or equivalent
  • 5 years of project management experience, ideally with special purpose machines or with automation technology in the life science industry
  • Knowledge of common methods and tools in project management
  • Confident and customer-oriented mindset, with great communication skills
  • Efficient, reliant, assertive, independent personality who doesn’t shy away from making decisions
  • Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
  • Very good presentation skills and a structured way of working
  • Teamwork and flexibility
