Position Overview

Our Client is seeking an accomplished and visionary Project Director to provide strategic leadership and oversight for our semiconductor fab construction project. The Project Director will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of the project, including meeting objectives, maintaining client satisfaction, and upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement a comprehensive project strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
• Provide visionary leadership to the project team, setting clear direction and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.

Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring open and transparent communication.
• Understand client expectations and proactively address concerns or issues to maintain a positive client relationship.

Program Management

• Oversee the execution of multiple projects within the semiconductor fab construction program.
• Ensure seamless coordination and integration of various project components to achieve overall program success.

Resource Allocation

• Strategically allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to optimize project performance.
• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to ensure efficient resource utilization.

Risk Mitigation and Problem Resolution

• Identify and assess project risks, providing timely and effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead the resolution of complex issues, leveraging experience and industry knowledge.

Budget Oversight

• Collaborate with the finance and project management teams to establish and monitor project budgets.
• Ensure financial objectives are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with key stakeholders, including government authorities, regulatory bodies, and community representatives.
• Represent the company at public forums and ensure positive relations with external entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience (minimum 15 years) in project and program management within semiconductor or high-tech facility construction.
• Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, complex projects from conception to completion.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
