We’ve partnered with a privately owned international automation company with a strong, people-first culture is hiring two Installation & Commissioning Technicians to join its field deployment team.

Working across various European locations, the technicians will install, troubleshoot, and optimise advanced warehouse automation technologies while developing their technical skills through hands-on learning and real-world exposure.

This role suits early-career mechanical/electrical professionals who are adaptable, reliable, and motivated by a dynamic, travel-focused environment.

Role Snapshot

  • Install, configure, and commission automated systems at customer sites
  • Diagnose electrical/mechanical issues and conduct system testing & QA
  • Deliver basic user training and provide progress updates during deployments
  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams across multi-country projects
  • Maintain installation documentation, reports, and non-conformance logs
  • Travel approx. 50% across Europe, with occasional global assignments

Key Requirements

  • Background in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or electromechanical engineering/technician fields
  • Hands-on mindset with strong technical curiosity
  • Comfortable working in unstructured environments with on-the-job training
  • Strong communication skills; English required
  • Willingness to travel frequently, including short-notice service visits
  • Ideally based in, or willing to relocate to, a central European region
