We are looking for a HILS (Hardware in the Loop Simulation) System Engineer at our company, you will play a critical role in the testing and evaluation of electronic devices for our client’s groundbreaking flying cars. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining a software evaluation system using HILS, from requirement breakdown to test execution, failure analysis, and planning countermeasures. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a world-leading project and expand your skills in testing new technologies. *Relocation to Japan with VISA support*

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a software evaluation system using HILS for electronic devices in flying cars.
  • Break down system requirements into test specifications and evaluate the Equipment Under Test (EUT).
  • Utilize dSPACE tools including SCALEXIO, ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, and AutomationDesk.
  • Conduct failure analysis and plan countermeasures for evaluation using HILS.
  • Collaborate with various teams including power electronics, airframe control, aerodynamics, and certification.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in software evaluation using HILS environment.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in requirements analysis and test scenario creation.
  • Background in embedded software development.
  • Familiarity with dSPACE tools and Python.
  • Experience with LabVIEW and VBA macro creation.
  • Ability to create test harnesses and work with CANalyzer.
  • Knowledge of circuit design and building HILS systems.
