We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this position will play a key role in the design, development, and documentation of innovative thermal management and mechanical systems products. The successful candidate will support new product development, product improvements, and ongoing engineering initiatives to ensure high-quality, cost-effective solutions are delivered on schedule

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop electrical schematics, bills of materials, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Create, review, and maintain technical drawings and engineering documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for standardisation to improve engineering and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, technical specifications, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Perform engineering calculations, component selection, and system design activities using various engineering tools and software.
  • Support cost-reduction and value-engineering initiatives across products and components.
  • Evaluate manufacturing and assembly processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Research, evaluate, and specify new electrical components and equipment.
  • Manage engineering change documentation and maintain product configuration records.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing, service, and commercial teams.
  • Assist with training and mentoring engineering team members.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams on technical projects.
  • Support product certification activities and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and other engineering projects as required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering registration or eligibility is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical design, product development, or manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience within HVAC, cooling systems, industrial equipment, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, control systems, and electrical component selection.
  • Familiarity with North American electrical codes and safety standards.
  • Experience working with CAD and engineering documentation systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
