Role responsibilities:

In a remote position, based in France, Germany, or the UK, the Data Centre Operations Leader will report to the VP of Business Transformation and strategy and will be responsible for driving strategy and operational processes to support strategic account management for the company’s global Data Centre vertical. You will work cohesively to implement processes that encompass all phases of the business relationship, from pre-bid activities to the end of the warranty period and beyond into the life cycle service phase.

Typical Responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Account Process Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and refine the strategic account management process for the Data Centre division. This process should cover all touchpoints of the customer journey, including sales, pre-bid activities, project execution, warranty management, and ongoing life cycle service.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within strategic accounts. Act as the main point of contact, understanding their needs, requirements, and challenges, and proactively offering tailored solutions to address them.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure the successful execution of projects within the Data Centre sector. Monitor project progress, coordinate with project teams, and address any issues that may arise to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop and implement performance metrics and KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the strategic account process. Regularly analyze data and provide insights to enhance processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Service teams to align strategies, goals, and execution plans. Foster a cohesive and collaborative environment to maximize customer value.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with strategic accounts and projects. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure the successful outcome of projects and maintain customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within the Data Centre market in strategic and operational roles that support account and project management with a strong understanding of HVAC and energy performance solutions within the vertical.

The candidate will also possess a Degree in Engineering or Business Management.
