CrimsonXT has partnered with one of the world’s leading providers of intralogistics solutions, materials handling and storage systems, looking to hire a Business Development Manager to its team of experts.

Role responsibilities: 

As Business Development Manager, you will be the key driver in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities, working closely with sales and marketing to develop our customer base. You will be responsible for the following:

  • You will play a pivotal role in generating leads, qualifying potential projects, and engaging with key stakeholders
  • Contribute directly to the success and growth of the company’s Logistics Solutions division
  • Find and nurture potential project leads for LS-sales
  • Develop and execute the local business development strategy with the Head of Sales and Marketing
  • Lead sales activities and manage customer projects
  • Identify key market segments and target organisations to drive growth
  • Stay on top of industry trends, tracking companies looking to develop their supply chain networks
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and company events to establish and maintain a strong industry presence
  • Generate leads through strategic networking and proactive outreach

What we are looking for: 

We are looking for someone with a background in business development and/or sales, preferably within warehousing, automation, or logistics. You should also possess the following:

  • A business degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • High energy, self-motivation, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Commercial acumen
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • The ability to work effectively in a multicultural and collaborative environment
  • A valid driving license and willingness to travel frequently.
