With two accredited test labs and a robust suite of integration and consulting services, they provide end-to-end support for their clients. Boasting over 30 years of innovation, they remain at the forefront of industry standards and IoT integration and are deeply involved with leading industry associations.

Role responsibilities: 

We seek a Business Development Manager to drive market growth, forge partnerships, and achieve ambitious sales targets. This role offers a mix of technical and commercial responsibilities, with opportunities to grow alongside strategic market expansion.

Location: Based in the UK, preferably within the Greater London, Birmingham, Manchester, or Leeds areas.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: £50,000–£65,000
  • Bonus: 20–25% of base salary (with potential for overachievement incentives)
  • Additional Benefits: Potential inclusion of benefits inspired by German standards (e.g., company car/allowance, quarterly success shares, and employer-supported retirement insurance).

Key responsibilities:

  • Sales and Strategy: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to grow our presence in the UK and Ireland.
  • Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and systems integrators.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage in-depth knowledge of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including HVAC, lighting, and security solutions, to meet customer needs.
  • Market Insights: Understand local regulations, energy efficiency standards, and emerging trends like IoT integration and digital twins.
  • Team Collaboration: Support the sales team in achieving group targets while managing your individual sales pipeline.

What we are looking for:

  • Background: Technical or commercial background, with a strong interest in sales.
  • Skills: Experience in BAS, familiarity with communication protocols (e.g., BACnet, Modbus), and knowledge of smart building technologies.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (German is a plus).
  • Mindset: Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and customer-focused solutions.
