We’re supporting a leading robotics software business as they continue to scale their European R&D team.

This is a pure software engineering role – no integration or deployment work – focused on building core algorithms and systems that power next-generation robotic automation in logistics environments.

You’ll be working directly within Global R&D, contributing to real-world European projects while collaborating closely with the wider engineering team.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing core software (C++ / Python) within an R&D environment
• Building and optimising algorithms for robotics / warehouse automation use cases
• Working directly with source code and core platform development
• Supporting European projects from a central R&D function
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across robotics, product, and engineering

What they’re looking for

• 5+ years’ experience in software or robotics development
• Strong C++ and Python capability
• Solid grounding in mathematics / algorithms / problem-solving
• Ideally some exposure to warehouse automation / logistics systems
• Comfortable working in a pure R&D (non-deployment) environment
