CrimsonXT has partnered with an international supply chain technology group with over 100 locations worldwide, looking to hire a Mechanical Design Engineer for its growing team of experts.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will lead and oversee all technical operations, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualise, design, and implement mechanical solutions. You will focus on delivering customised, high-quality solutions that meet the customer requirements, while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will:

• Perform the analysis of the specifications and commercial proposals
• Interpret project layout and specifications
• Provide technical information
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, guidelines and regulations
• Perform the compilation of the technical documentation of the product/solution
• Promote and encourage the incorporation of new technological trends
• Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods
• Ensure compliance with the defined budget and the company’s policy for quality, environment and safety

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, and 5–10+ years of relevant industry experience. You should have: 

• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or CATIA)
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and version control of technical documentation
• Strong project management capabilities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to foster continuous improvement and drive process optimisation
