As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tool Install Program Manager to join the team.

Position Overview:

As a Tool Install Program Manager, you will be critical in leading and managing tool installation programs for semiconductor manufacturing facilities. You will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of tool installation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and client representatives, to ensure seamless coordination and integration of all project activities.

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Program Management: Develop and implement overall tool install program strategies, plans, and schedules in coordination with project stakeholders, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
  • Project Planning: Create detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, budget, and resource allocation, to guide the execution of tool installation projects.
  • Bid and Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of project bids and proposals, collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information, including technical specifications, cost estimates, and project deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and timely resolution of project-related issues.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a diverse team of professionals, including engineers, project coordinators, and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Management: Identify and assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays, cost overruns, and quality issues.
  • Procurement and Logistics: Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of tools and equipment, while optimizing costs and adhering to project specifications.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure that all tool installations comply with industry standards, client requirements, and safety regulations.
  • Change Management: Effectively manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring appropriate documentation, communication, and approval processes are followed.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare regular progress reports, project documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, providing accurate and timely updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, standardization, and best practices, and drive their implementation across the tool install program.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred. You should also possess the following: 

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in project or program management, preferably in the semiconductor industry or EPC firms.
  • A proven track record of successfully managing complex tool installation programs from conception to completion, adhering to budget, schedule, and quality requirements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing tools, processes, and facilities.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing project teams.
  • Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Experience in preparing project bids and proposals, including cost estimates and technical specifications.
  • Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Practical communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or equivalent is a plus.
