CrimsonXT has partnered with one of the pioneers of autonomous case-handling robotic systems, currently looking to hire a Solutions Design Manager for the team. Role responsibilities: 

If successful, you will be responsible for the analysis of customer requirements and aligning expectations for logistics robotic solutions. You will customize the process for customers to solve their problems, and provide scope definition for implementation with warehouse/manufacturing site, as well as lead the plan design of the warehouse automation project with stakeholders. You will also be responsible for the following:

  • Prepare the tender information
  • Prepare technical proposals to customers
  • Cooperate and collaborate with the sales team t develop the business, provide pre-sale technical support to customers
  • Align robot-driven logistic design with general contractors and/or subcontractors in the project, whose design and scope integrate with the overall proposed solution
  • Collaborate with WMS/MES software engineers to map processes to Warehouse Execution System or Manufacturing Execution System
  • Oversee robotics implementations and follow-up, ensuring final delivery is in line with the scope and functionality defined
  • Provide automation roadmap to the customer, based upon business growth and transformation plan
  • Establish a strong working relationship with the Country Manager for the long-term development of the HAI Robotics business in the territory

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management/logistics management / industrial engineering or a related discipline. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse automation design, preferably in robot-driven technologies, an understanding of commercial business models, and AutoCAD 2D layout proficiency.

You should also have good written and spoken English, confidence in presenting solutions internally and to potential customers, online collaboration tool proficiency, and MS Office suite. Mainstream WMS/WCS/MFC integration experience would be seen as favorable, but not essential and an ability to facilitate and drive cross-department collaboration and communication. 

You should also have travel flexibility for this role.
