Senior Design Engineer

Role responsibilities:

If successful, you will be responsible for providing simulation, engineering, project management, and analytical support to the Design Engineering department. You will support the design and implementation of new processes, facilities, and retrofits as well as the following:

• Develop discrete-event simulation models for proposed solutions
• Customized logistics solutions and layouts for customers
• Detailed analysis of customer product profiles to determine warehousing requirements
• Management of solution design process

This position is full-time and requires up to 10%-15% travel, with some international travel possibly required.

What we are looking for:

• 3 to 6 years of project-related design work; (completed internship preferred) as well as 2 to 4 years of implementation or project management experience (preferred).
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD software, advanced knowledge and capabilities with Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, VBA & SQL, and excellent technical skills
• General understanding of facility layout and design, preferred experience with commercial simulation packages (FlexSim strongly preferred), and a proven ability to take initiative and meet deadlines.
