CrimsonXT has partnered with a global manufacturer of chillers focusing on high-efficiency mag-bearing oil-free products with an eye for innovation and eco-sustainability, in addition to offering a vast range of commercial heat pumps to support global decarbonization. We are currently looking to hire a Sales Engineer based out of Illinois as part of the North American expansion to develop revenue in this region.

Role responsibilities:

Based in Elmhurst, Illinois, if successful, you will utilize your strong technical knowledge and interpersonal to consult and develop chiller solutions that tackle customers’ building efficiency challenges.

Although they are based locally, travel will be expected across certain States to visit customers to increase product visibility, maximise sales and partner with manufacturer’s representatives, consulting engineers, and building owners.

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Interpret mechanical plans & specifications
  • Evaluate project requirements and provide the best solution
  • Achieve annual sales plans for assigned territory
  • Presents the proposal and negotiates price, terms, and conditions with the customer
  • Support the customer after the sale and during installation to ensure complete satisfaction and promote future business
  • Travel to customer job sites as required

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, business, or equivalent.

You should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC systems and ideally, a working knowledge of chiller systems. You must be comfortable developing technical proposals with consulting engineers.
