Role responsibilities:

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Origination Manager will be responsible for analyzing the energy market to allow you to develop long-term partnerships with energy providers, as well as managing that portfolio of green electricity (guarantees of origin) and green gas (CO2 reduction rights).

Furthermore, you will identify projects right across Europe that will provide an opportunity to continue to expand my client’s existing dealer network and also be responsible for procuring guarantees of origin.

This position is based in Hamburg and will require the successful candidate to be based in the office, however, my client is offering some flexibility with one day a week working remotely.

What we are looking for:

• You have a degree in business administration (Bachelor’s or Master’s).
• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in commodity trading, ideally in electricity trading.
• German language skills are at a native level and your English skills are business fluent.
• Based in Hamburg (or willing to relocate) and open to being present within a vibrant office culture
