Manufacturing Engineer Manager

We have partnered with a fast-growing company in the manufacturing sector, that is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to its Manufacturing and Supply Chain department.

Key Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for leading and providing direction to the Manufacturing Engineering Team, as well as:

• Oversee the manufacturing engineering process and related tasks
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma methodologies
• Participate in Design for Manufacturing through the Product Development Process (PDP)
• Manage manufacturing capacity expansion and footprint projects
• Oversee new program capital expenditures
• Develop and implement the advanced manufacturing engineering roadmap

What we are looking for:

We are looking for someone with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, as well as:

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering and manufacturing experience in a heavy fabrication and large-scale customized assembly environment
• Experience working in an Integrated Product Development Team environment
• Strong knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, etc.)
