Our client, a Fortune500 market leader in residential and light commercial heat pumps, is looking for a dynamic and experienced International Key Account Manager to join their international sales team. They are entrusted by wholesalers and distribution networks across Europe. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a revenue that has been built on the foundations of over two decades of an exclusive relationship with a multi-million euro revenue stream in Hungary while also supporting a large revenue stream in the Netherlands.

Position Overview:

As an International Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding the client’s existing relationships with key accounts in Hungary and the Netherlands. This role is home-based with bi-weekly international travel for a couple of days with a regular weekly team meeting in the Dusseldorf HQ. You will become an integral part of their 7-member international sales team, which is growing due to their continuous success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow existing key accounts in Hungary and the Netherlands.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the HVAC industry.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to maintain long-term relationships.


  • Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Fluency in German and English is compulsory
  • Knowledge of heat pumps is preferred, but candidates with other HVAC backgrounds will be considered.
  • A related technical degree is preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
