They are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team and contribute to the successful completion of semiconductor fab construction projects.

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical scopes of work within semiconductor fab construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of electrical systems installation, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and managing project timelines and budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans and schedules.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of electrical components.

Scope Management:

  • Manage electrical scopes of work, including power distribution, lighting, control systems, and instrumentation.
  • Review project specifications and drawings to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of electrical designs.

Budget and Cost Control:

  • Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
  • Identify potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure that electrical installations meet industry standards and project requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations or deficiencies.

Resource Management:

  • Supervise and allocate resources, including labor, equipment, and materials, to support electrical project activities.
  • Ensure the availability of skilled electricians and subcontractors as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Uphold strict safety standards and ensure that all electrical work is performed in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Address and report safety issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Client Communication:

  • Maintain strong communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any client concerns or requests.

Risk Management:

  • Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions or delays.
  • Prepare and execute contingency plans when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical project management within the construction industry, with a focus on semiconductor fab or industrial projects.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical plans and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Project management software proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar).
