CrimsonXT has partnered with a groundbreaking technology company, looking to hire a Controller to hold a real leadership role within the company, including equity.

As the Controller, you will assume the role of financial conductor, responsible for orchestrating all aspects of accounting. Your task extends beyond mere number management; instead, you will be directing financial symphonies. Your primary responsibility is to gather, organize, and present financial data, laying the groundwork for our company’s future success.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring strict adherence to GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Strengthen internal controls to protect revenue, expenses, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Set the pace by establishing financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting norms.
  • Develop the financial playbook with consistent accounting policies and practices.
  • Safeguard our financial assets through the creation and enforcement of internal controls.

Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:

Lead our accounting team, fostering a productive and trusting environment where they can excel.

Required Qualifications:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
  • Possess over a decade of accounting expertise.
  • Hold a professional accounting certification (CMA, CGA, or CA).
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of financial laws and regulatory standards (GAAP).
  • Exhibit a strong grasp of economic and banking processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bring over five years of experience as a senior-level accounting or finance expert.
  • Show an aptitude for dissecting complex financial data.
  • Demonstrate proven proficiency in payroll management and streamlining accounting processes.
  • Boast a track record of exceptional financial project management.
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local tax compliance regulations and reporting is a plus.
  • Possession of a CPA designation is highly desirable.
